Founded in 1895 as a private liberal arts institution, UT Arlington achieved senior college status in 1959 and became part of The University of Texas System in 1965. Academic Partnerships is in step with the innovation that has become UT Arlington’s hallmark. Through Academic Partnerships, the UT Arlington School of Nursing and the School of Education are introducing an innovative, distributed learning program. This program provides healthcare providers and school districts accessible and affordable UT Arlington quality learning for nurses to complete their BSN and teachers to obtain a master’s degree. UT Arlington is implementing this scalable model through partnerships with both healthcare providers and school districts.
This breakthrough makes it possible for, tuition per student to be reduced to $4,950. The programs are based on manageable courses that can be completed in 16 to 18 months while continuing to work.
